Palestinian worshippers headed to the Qalandia checkpoint, which separates the West Bank from Jerusalem, despite the stormy weather and Israel’s restrictions on access to Al-Aqsa Mosque, Al Jazeera reports.

Al Jazeera reported that Israel has said only men over 55, women over 50, and children under 12 will be permitted to enter on the first Friday of the holy month of Ramazan.
