Israel’s former deputy Mossad chief Ram Ben Barak has warned the country to remain vigilant against Hezbollah, Al Jazeera reports.

Even though the group has been “infiltrated”, it can still launch an attack in a short space of time, he said in comments carried by Israeli public radio.

“We need to get rid of the euphoria and prepare for a major event in the north,” said Ben Barak.
