Students at Harvard hold silent pro-Palestinian protest

Students at Harvard University in the US have held a silent protest to denounce what they call the Ivy League institution’s complicity in the “ongoing genocide of Gaza” and the suppression of pro-Palestinian activism on campus, Al Jazeera reports.

The students wore gags to symbolise the silencing of voices supporting Palestine, an “exception to free speech”, and held empty pots inscribed with “We will never be silent.”
