Gaza’s health ministry said the bodies of 19 people were recovered and identified in the aftermath of an Israeli strike on the Al-Mawasi area in Khan Younis, Al Jazeera reports.

“There are still a number of victims under the rubble, under the sand and on the roads,” the ministry said.

“Ambulance and civil defense crews cannot reach them and rescue them, and they have not reached the hospitals yet.”
