Hamas says it rejects new Israeli conditions in Gaza ceasefire talks

Palestinian fighter group Hamas is sticking to a July 2 Gaza ceasefire proposal, rejects new Israeli conditions for a ceasefire and says talk of an imminent deal is false, group official Osama Hamdan said according to Reuters.

“We will not accept discussions about retractions from what we agreed to on July 2 or new conditions,” Hamas official Osama Hamdan told the group’s Al-Aqsa TV.
