Israel’s military offensive in the Gaza Strip has killed at least 40,173 Palestinians and wounded 92,857 since October 7, the Palestinian enclave’s health ministry has said, Reuters reports.

The toll includes 34 deaths in the past 24 hours, the ministry added.
