ABBOTTABAD: A common leopard attacked a house in Sangreri village of Birote Khurd union council of Abbottabad district, injuring three members of a family, including a woman, here on Tuesday.

According to Rescue 1122, a team was promptly dispatched to the spot soon after receiving information about the incident.

The rescuers provided first aid to the injured and shifted them to hospital. The injured were identified as Farhan, Adnan and Nusrat Bibi.

According to wildlife officials, the leopard attacked the family members after entering the house in Sangreri village. They said three members of the family suffered minor injuries.

The officials said local residents shot and injured the leopard.

They said a wildlife team trapped the injured leopard, which is now receiving treatment for its injuries.
