KARACHI: Fauji Cement Company Ltd posted a net profit of Rs4.4 billion for 2021-22, which includes income originating from the erstwhile Askari Cement Ltd with earnings per share calculated on the basis of the post-merger number of shares (2.2bn).

According to Arif Habib Ltd, a year-on-year comparison of the cement maker isn’t possible because detailed accounts haven’t been released yet.

The company also announced a 12.5 per cent bonus issue.

Cnergyico profit jumps

Cnergyico PK Ltd posted a consolidated profit of Rs4.1bn in 2021-22, up 40.1pc from the preceding 12 months. The company’s top line grew 19.6pc on a year-on-year basis to Rs170bn.

KE income dips

Consolidated earnings of K-Electric Ltd clocked in at Rs8.4bn for 2021-22, down 29.3pc from a year ago. Its annual revenue amounted to Rs346.3bn, up 35.8pc on a year-on-year basis.

The company didn’t announce any dividend.
