Denaish shines in AKU basketball

KARACHI, April 20 Denaish Rakhani scored 25 points to help Bounce Basketball Club record a massive 108-42 win over the Institute of Business Administration (IBA) in the third AKU Inter-club basketball tournament here at the AKU Sports Centre Gymnasium on Sunday.

Meanwhile, hosts Aga Khan University overcame Rovers Basketball Club 53-46. Muzammil played pivotal role in the AKU win, scoring 19 points.

Ameer Ali scored 21 points for the RBC but his efforts went in vain as he couldn't save his side from a defeat.

In another match, GC Basketball Club recorded a thrilling 77-71 win over Ziauddin Medical College. Agha Ibrahim was the top scorer for the winners scoring 21 points.

However, Tahir Ahmed of the ZMU displayed impressive show scoring 37 points.—Agencies
