LAHORE, Oct 28 Faisalabad and Karachi earned victories on the second day of the PHF Junior Super League here on Thursday.

Two-goal Mohsin Sabir helped Faisalabad to edge out PHF Academy 2-1.

Though the Academy took the lead first through Hafiz Rizwan Ali in the 21st minute of play, they were kept at bay in the remaining time as Faisalabad, with a packed defence, raided the rivals goalpost in patches to earn two goals in as many minutes through Mohsin, in the 66th and 68th minute to change the fortune.

Two goals by Shujaat Ali enabled Karachi to have an easy sailing, outclassing Quetta 4-1.

The winners started off brilliantly surging 3-1 in the first session and 4-1 in the second as no goal was scored in the final third session of play.

Shujaat fired home in the 4th and 8th minute, converting penalty-corner, while Ahmad Zubair (21st minute) and M. Ali Khan (48th minute) made successful field attempts to complete the tally. The solitary goal of Quetta came through Javed Ahmad, who found the net in the 19th minute, converting a short-corner.
