KARACHI, July 31 Quaid-i-Azam Gold Cup Hockey Tournament being played simultaneously at the Hockey Club of Pakistan (HCP) and the Olympian Iftikhar Syed Sports Academy (OISSA) saw the playing of three matches on Saturday.

Pakistan Customs beat Sindh 4-1.

Noman scored a hat-trick when he found the net in the third, 13th and 35th minutes while Rao Amir scoring one for them in the 34th minute.

The consolation goal for Sindh was scored by Wasim Aslam in the 61st minute.

Noman was declared Man of the Match.

Pakistan Steel beat Ghana Customs 2-0 with the goals for the winners being scored by Sultan Ashraf (38th minute) and Mohammad Yaseen (53rd minute).

Sultan Ashraf was also declared Man of the Match.

Meanwhile at OISSA, National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) beat Punjab 2-1.

Both the goals for the winners were scored through penalty-corners, converted by Mohammad Ateeq (34th min) and Wasif Siddiqui (70th min).

Punjabs goal was scored by Waqas Ahmed in the 58th minute.

Waqas along with goalie Sufiyan was also named Men of the Match.
