KARACHI, July 10 The National Bank of Pakistan on Friday honoured five employees who played exceptionally well during the Asia Cup Hockey Tournament in Malaysia in May, where the team went down 0-1 to Korea in the final to take silver.

The players — skipper Zeeshan Ashraf, Salman Akbar, Tariq Aziz, Akhtar Ali and Haseem Khan -- were each handed Rs25,000 along with a letter of appreciation by the bank's president Ali Raza with the hope that they carry on with the good work and help the team qualify for next year's World Cup as well.
