Karachi basketball teams named

KARACHI, June 3 The Karachi City District Amateur Basketball Association (KCDABA) on Thursday named men's and women's teams for the 13th Sindh Games which are being held in the metropolis from June 14 to 16.

The two teams, which were picked after open trials, are undergoing training in the camps separately. The final line up of 10 players apiece will be announced before their first match.

Men Abdullah Imam (captain), Akmal Jamil, Syed Adnan Ali, Mohammad Haroon Khan, Idrees Sadiq, Mohammad Shabbar, Agha Mohammad Ibrahim, Ali Raza, Wasif Shaukat, Zainul Abedin, Furqan Tafseer, Raj Kumar, Talha Abid and Shahzad Yaqoob.

Women Fauzia Fateh Mohammad (captain), Sobia Sagheer, Rehana Asif, Mehwish Farooqui, Hajra Ghanchi, Mariam Ghanchi, Fatima Hina, Nausheen Malik, Anila Yaqoob, Saima Hafeez, Tabina Rana, Darakshan Ehsan, Shabana Ghori and Lubna Fazal.
