LAHORE, May 4 Seventeen teams are to compete in the 29th National Junior Hockey Championship which starts at the National Hockey Stadium from Wednesday.

The teams have been divided into four pools.

Team manager's meeting was also held at National Hockey Stadium on Tuesday.

Five matches will be played on the opening day. Balochistan will face Punjab (Reds, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Colours will lock horns against Punjab (Blues), while Sindh Colours will play Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Whites, and Sindh Whites will take on Islamabad.

In the last match, Pakistan Boards will face the National Bank of Pakistan.

Pool 'A' PIA, PAF, Balochistan, Punjab Reds.

Pool 'B' SSGC, Police, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Colours, Punjab Blues.

Pool 'C' Customs, Punjab Greens, Sindh Colours, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.

Pool 'D' National Bank, Punjab Whites, Sindh Whites, Islamabad, Pakistan Boards.—Sports Reporter
