KARACHI, July 3 Nazir Alam won the third Junior Sindh Snooker Cup phase I beating Yasir Khan 4-3 in the best of seven frames final played at the Indus Snooker Parlour on Friday.

Nazir recovered after losing the opening frame to post 29-57, 63-17, 82-45, 61-24, 24-55, 58-63, 56-32 victory over his opponent.

Top eight players of phase I have qualified for the final league. They will be joined by another group of eight players from the second phase of the event which will be played in December.

The second phase will be followed by final league to be participated by 16 cueists. Top eight players of the final league will be eligible to compete in the third National Junior Snooker Championship which is being held in the beginning of next year.

Top eight players of phase I Nazir Alam, Yasir Khan, Asad Hussain Kamani, Fayyaz Shafi, Abdullah, Arsalan Waseem, Mohammad Fahad and Mubbashir.
