Pakistan in snooker quarters

KARACHI, Nov 13 Spirited Pakistan stormed into the quarter-finals of the Asian Games snooker team event inflicting 3-1 defeat on Hong Kong in Guangzhou on Saturday.

According to results made available here, Shahram Changezi was instrumental in Pakistan's triumph against Hong Kong winning opening and reverse singles.

Earlier, Pakistan thrashed Kuwait 3-0 in the preliminary round played in the morning. Pakistan is now drawn to meet Iraq in the quarter-final on Sunday.
