KARACHI The Pakistan Billiards and Snooker Association (PBSA) is planning to stage a 5-nation 6-Red International Snooker Championship in June or July in Karachi.

“Yes, we are looking to attract foreign teams to play in Pakistan in this short and popular brand of 6-Red Snooker,” PBSA President Alamgir Shaikh said on Tuesday.

“We are working on the event and will be approaching teams during the next month's Asian Snooker Championship in Thailand,” he pointed out.

He said India has already expressed its keenness to feature in it. He said they would be extending invitations to China, Egypt, Qatar, UAE and Thailand.—APP
