PHF academy holds jr trials

LAHORE, Jan 1 Trials to select players for PHF Hockey Academy Lahore were held at National Hockey Stadium on Thursday.

Forty-five players of age group of U-14, 15 and 16 took part in trials. Selection Committee of the Punjab Anjum Saeed (Chairman), Shabir Ahmad, Akhlaq Ahmad, Gulraiz Sheikh and Khalid Rasool along with coaches of Lahore Qasim Khan (Police), Rana Muhammad Zaheer (Lahore) and Mujahid Afzal (ABL) watched the trials. The selectors have decided to again hold the trials here on Jan 4.—Sports Reporter
