LAHORE, July 9 Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) on Friday announced the technical officials for the forthcoming Quaid-i-Azam Gold Cup Hockey Tournament to be held at the Hockey Club of Pakistan from July 28 to August 5.

The event featuring provincial and departmental teams will have Olympian Khalid Bashir as the tournament director, while Collector Customs Preventive Fateh Mohammad Sheikh will be the organising secretary. Mohammad Shafqat Malik and Farooq Khan will serve as assistant tournament directors and Arif Hayat, Talat Mehmood and Mohammad Shafiq Bhatti will be the tournament officers.

The detailed judges are Shahid Habib, Tassadduq Hussain, Azeem Khan, Zaheer-ul-Haq, Haroon Saeed, Rana Mohammad Afzal, Mohammad Saeed, Mohammad Faizan, Musarrat Hussain and Irfan Qureshi. Saeed Ahmad (Karachi) will be the umpires manager, while Dilawar Hussain Bhatti will act as assistant umpires manager. The detailed umpires are Shahid Parvez, Moinuddin, Faisal Ismail, Haider Rasool, Munir Ahmad, Kamran Hussain, Kamran Sharif, Rana Mohammad Liaquat, Ghufran Ahmad, Syed Zulfiqar Haider and Parvez Akhtar.—APP
