Saud, Saad, Omer win in SSB Tennis

KARACHI, Nov 20 Three players surged into juniors' under-17 singles next round registering emphatic victories over their opponents on the opening day of Sindh Sports Board (SSB) Open ranking tennis championship at City Sports Complex on Saturday.

Saud Shoaib outplayed Rabiuddin 6-0, 6-1 while Saad Noor Sumar disposed off M. Salman 6-2, 6-1. In the third fixture, Omer Usman whipped Malik Hamza 6-4, 6-3.

Boys' and girls' under-13 singles

First round Saeed Hasan bt Syed Kashan Raza 8-3; Emad Najam bt Haniya Naveed 8-3; Farzan Azhar bt Shabbir Mohammed 8-1.

Boys' under-11 singles

First round M. Raza Sawani bt Bilal Imran Lohya 8-2; Hasan Farooq bt Houd Azhar 8-2; Shahzil Malik bt Haniya Naveed 8-5.
