ISLAMABAD Addressing troops during his visit to army formations conducting collective training, field firing and battle inoculation exercises near Bahawalpur, Army Chief General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani appreciated the professionalism and high morale of the units involved in the exercises on Thursday.

These exercises are being held as part of the army's 'Year of Training' programme, reports DawnNews.

General Kayani has emphasized the need for enhancing professional competence through relentless training and for maintaining a high state of operational readiness at all times. 

The Army Chief was briefed by in-charge General of the exercises and progress achieved so far.
