Published April 19, 2003

KARACHI, April 18: The Journal of the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan has been included for indexing in the Index Medicus and Medline by the US-based National Library of Medicine.

According to a press release of the college, a technical committee had reviewed the JCPSP’s performance in October and after careful deliberations it was awarded a “very good” score.

Besides Index Medicus/Medline, the JCPSP is also indexed by EMBASE/Excerpta Medica and other international indexing and abstracting agencies, said the handout. It is the largest circulating medical journal of the country.

The journal has a dedicated website and its contents are accessible through the internet, added the press release.
