QUETTA, July 2 Six people, three brothers among them, were killed and three others injured in separate incidents in two districts on Friday.

Sources said that two groups of Kakar tribe clashed with each other in Kan Mehtarzai area of Qila Saifullah district over a land dispute.

The fighting in which rockets and machine-guns were used continued for two hours during which four people, three brothers among them, were killed and three others injured.

The injured were admitted to the Qila Saifullah civil hospital.

The situation was tense and the local administration deployed levies and Frontier Corps personnel to the area to avert further clashes.

In Quetta, unidentified men gunned down the administrator of an Imambargah in Sariab road area. Ali Mohammad was on his way home when armed men on a motorcycle attacked him.

“It was an act of target killing,” a police official said.

In Turbat, unidentified armed men opened fire on Abdul Sattar Buledi when he was going to bazaar, killing him on the spot. —Correspondent
