QUETTA, April 21 The Balochistan High Court has directed the provincial government not to make any further allotment of forest nursery land and asked it to submit details of allotments made from the 52 acres of lands earmarked for the nursery.
On a petition filed by Talat Waheed Khan, a division bench comprising Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa and Justice Syeda Tahira Safdar directed the secretary of Balochistan's forest department on Wednesday to specify the areas and seek police protection for the land.
The court said no allotment that could change the purpose for which the nursery had been established should be made.
