Four dengue cases in Narowal

NAROWAL, Oct 31 Four dengue fever cases have been reported in the district.

Reports said three students -- Muhammad Saqib, Muhammad Aslam and Tariq -- and Ruqqaya Bibi, a resident of Derianwala village, were tested positive for dengue fever at the District Headquarters Hospital. Doctors referred Saqib, Tariq and Ruqayya Bibi to Lahore while Aslam was admitted to the DHQ hospital.

Dr Muhammad Azeem told this correspondent that Aslam was stable and could be treated in the district.

EDO (Health) Dr Khalil Akhtar said the three youngsters were students of Lahore and they got infected there. He said the health department would carry out fumigation all over the district for which 27 teams were working.
