SIALKOT, Feb 4 The Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) will start direct passenger flights from Sialkot International Airport to Sharjah, Jeddah, London and Barcelona soon.

Talking to newsmen here on Thursday, Sialkot International Airport Limited (SIAL) General Manager Muhammad Nawaz Chaudhry said PIA would start direct passenger flights from here to Sharjah on Feb 18, for Jeddah on April 3, London in June and Barcelona soon.

He said SIAL and PIA had already completed all arrangements in this regard. He said that PIA was considering direct passenger flights to Middle East soon.

SIAL Chairman Tauheed Akhtar said direct flights to the above mentioned destinations would benefit Sialkot's industrialists and expatriates.
