KOHAT Local Taliban killed three people on charges of assaulting an eight-year-old boy and threw their dead bodies in Ara Khel square in the adjacent tribal area on Monday.

A Taliban spokesman told Dawn that that the three accused had admitted before the elders and the Shura that they had sexually assaulted eight years old boy a few days back. After the charges were proved against them the Taliban Shura awarded them death punishment and they were put before firing squad on Monday.

One month ago the Taliban enforced Shariah in the frontier region of Kohat and banned all 'un-Islamic activities' like sale and use of hashish, liquor, music etc.
