Published April 10, 2003

KARACHI, April 9: Scores of students on Wednesday staged a demonstration at the Islamia Science College under the auspices of Islami Jamiat Talaba, to protest against the unjust US-led aggression on Iraq and to express solidarity with Iraqi people.

The demonstrators chanted anti-US slogans and hanged an effigy of the US President George W Bush.

Speaking to the students, in charge, IJT colleges’ committee, central zone, Taufiquddin Siddiqui, said the US was working on the Jewish agenda of “Greater Israel” and it was occupying the resources of Islamic states.

He said that after destroying Afghanistan and Iraq the imperialist US was now preparing to attack Pakistan.—PPI
