KARACHI, April 9: Sindh Chief Secretary K.B.Rind has sought a report from the KW&SB regarding the disconnection of water supply to 13-D-1, Gulshan-i-Iqbal.

He has also ordered immediate restoration of the supply.

The order after a complaint made by a delegation of the residents of the area that called on the chief secretary on Wednesday.

The delegation informed the CS that water supply had been regular till three weeks ago, when the KW&SB suddenly disconnected the supply to the area without giving any reason and without announcing the duration of the suspension of supply.

They said that concerned KW&SB officials were informed of the water shortage arising out of the sudden disclosure, but there was no response.—APP
