Memorial hockey from today

KARACHI Dec 4; The 39th YMCA junior hockey camp trainees Khursheed Aslam Memorial hockey league starts tomoorow (Wednesday) at 2.30pm, here at the YMCA ground.

Four teams from 48 under-18 trainees have been formed and daily two matches will be played.

The camp, which began ten days ago, ended Tuesday.

Inaugural match will be played between Latifur Rehman and Habib Ali Kiddi Elevens at 2.30 pm, followed by Col Dara and Munawwar-uz-Zaman XIs at 3.30.

The teams have been named after the names of former Olympians and the tournament has been instituted in memory of former Olymopian Khursheed Aslam who was instrumental in launching the coaching camp and remained chief coach for about 15 years before he died.
