Sohail stars for Pak Gym

KARACHI, Dec 4: Pak Gymkhana recorded a comfortable eight wicket success against Delhi City in the inaugural Paragon Cup Ramzan cricket tournament at UBL Sports Complex “A” Ground Tuesday.

Off-spinner Sohail Farooqi played major part in Pak Gymkhana win by picking up three wickets for 15 runs in five overs to dismiss Delhi City for 101 in 23.1 overs.

Left arm spinners Zeeshan Aziz and Babar Khawaja chipped in with two wickets apiece. Shahryear Khan fought the lone battle for Delhi City making a solid unbeaten 50 laced with three fours and a six after consuming 58 balls.

Pak Gymkhana romped home for the loss of just two wickets in 15th over with opener Imran Nawaz slamming an undefeated 50 with the aid of four boundaries and six, Naveed Ahmed returned unbeaten on 31 with the help of five boundaries.

Sohail Farooqi was named man of the match.
