KARACHI Safeer Hussain slotted home two penalty strokes in Multan's shock 4-1 victory over Lahore in Junior Super Hockey League at Hockey Club of Pakistan on Friday.

Multan took a shock lead in the 15th minute when Safeer converted the penalty stroke before completing his double in the 33rd minute, again on a penalty stroke.

Lahore were rattled when they went 3-0 down as Zeeshan Bokhari slammed home for Multan in the 46th minute.

It was only in the 55th minute that Lahore recovered but all they could do was to score a consolation goal through Sheheryar.

Mohammad Mushtaq completed the tally when he hammered in the 66th-minute penalty stroke for Multan.

In another match, an unimressive Sialkot edged past minnows Larkana 2-1.

Waseem Abbas and Mohammad Omar scored for the winners, while Ali Noman got the solitary goal for Larkana.
