CHARSADDA, Feb 21 Mujeebur Rehman was elected general secretary and Shaukat Hayat vice president of Charsadda District Bar Association here on Saturday. Khalid Durrani succeeded in clinching the slot of press secretary of bar.
Hedayatullah Khan, Imtiaz Khan and Hayat Khan, were already elected president, joint secretary and librarian of the bar respectively unopposed.
Talking to journalists after the election, Mujeebur Rehman and Hedayatullah Khan said that the lawyers of Charsadda would actively participate in the long march for the restoration of deposed Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry and his colleagues.
