HYDERABAD: Exhibition 2008 12 30

HYDERABAD, Dec 29 The Institute of Sindhology, University of Sindh, is organizing an exhibition of rare photographs and paintings and letters of Ms Benazir Bhutto at the Benazir Bhutto Gallery on Wednesday.

These articles had been gifted by Ms Benazir Bhutto for preservation and display at the gallery,

Sindh Education Minister Pir Mazharul Haq, Minister for Culture and Tourism Sassui Palijo and Sindh University Vice-Chancellor Mazharul Haq Siddiqui will inaugurate the exhibition.

QURAN KHAWANI Quran Khwani was held at Bukhari House in Tando Mohammad Khan on Monday for the departed soul of Ms Benazir Bhutto.

A large number of office-bearers and workers of the Pakistan People's Party participated in Quran Khwani.

Speaking on the occasion, MPA Syed Mohsin Shah Bukhari said that it was the earnest wish of Ms Benazir Bhutto to change the exploitative system and added that the party leadership was working in that direction to accomplish her mission.

He said that terrorism had attained alarming proportions and it had become an international problem so much so that even a great leader like Benazir Bhutto had fallen victim to it.

He said that the assassination of Ms Benazir Bhutto was a conspiracy aimed at disintegration of the country. He said that her blood would not be allowed to go in vain.
