HYDERABAD, March 6 Veterinary expert from Pittston Animal Hospital Pennsylvania, USA, Dr Inayatullah Kathio, has dispelled the impression that Pakistan was legging behind in veterinary sciences and said that Pakistan had made tremendous progress in the field specially in livestock and poultry. He was talking to newsmen at the press club here on Friday.

A former graduate of Sindh Agriculture University Tandojam and FAO fellow, Dr Kathio, said that the graduates of his alma mater were of world standards who could compete with the veterinary sciences of America and Europe.

He said he had made it a practice to visit Pakistan two or three times in a year and to impart latest veterinary education to the students of Agriculture University of Tandojam and other universities of the country free of charges.

He appreciated the cooperation extended to him by the Sindh ministers concerned.
