Young shooters in semis

LAHORE, Dec 3: Young Shooters Club entered the semifinal of the Lahore Ramazan-ul-Mubarak football tournament,  beating Muslim Sports, Sheikhupura, 3-2 on penalty kicks at the DPS ground, Model Town Monday.

No goal was scored in the regulation time of the quarter- final. To decide the tie both the teams were awarded five penalty-corner each. Young Shooters Club cashed in on three kicks through Zaheer Khan, Mohammad Azam and Abdur Razzaq. The losers could capitalise only two penalty-kicks through Zulifqar Ali and Shafique.

Tuesday fixture: Quarterfinal: Shah Kamal Club v Gaddafi Club, Sialkot.
