What does it take to be elegant? In her debut fashion show titled A Curious Mind on June 3, 2009, Pakistani designer Nida Azwer tried to answer that very question. The show comprised three lines - pret, couture and bridal - that brought together unusual fabrics, silhouettes and embellishments. I wanted to do so much, so I went all out, explains Azwer. I did not restrict myself in terms of a theme. The result was an explosion of cuts and colour that is bound to make a lasting impact on Pakistans fashion landscape. - AFP
