KARACHI, March 20: Pakistan International Airlines on Thursday brought back 1,287 Pakistanis home from Kuwait on three flights, including two extra sections.

A PIA spokesman told Dawn that 437 passengers arrived in Karachi from Kuwait on its scheduled flight PK-216. However, PIA flew its two extra sections to Kuwait on Wednesday from Karachi. The two flights, PK-2062 and PK-2162, which left Kuwait on Thursday landed in Lahore with 850 passengers.

A spokesman for the Civil Aviation Authority said on Thursday they had no intimation about any change of routes or cancellation of scheduled flights of Gulf Airways, Qatar Airline, Emirates or Saudia and on Thursday their airlines followed the schedule.
