Mooco the alien

Published August 21, 2010

It was a pleasant day and my mom had allowed me to take my dog, Floppy, for his morning walk. But she asked me not to stay out too long.

I took Floppy by the lead and walked slowly up the hill. When we reached the top of the hill, I decided to take rest, so I sat down on the lush green grass meanwhile Floppy sniffed hard at the white shopping bag and then gave such a loud bark that I jumped up with fright and ran to Floppy to comfort him.

I picked up the shopping bag to throw in the bin but my eyes caught sight of the green eerie light coming from it and a voice echoing “Help me! Help me!”

With curiosity I opened the shopping bag and I was stunned to see a strange creature staring at me. It was thumb-sized, with large poking eyes, a big mouth, big ears and a small head with long antennas over it. I thought it was an alien. I asked him his name and he told me that he was an alien named Mooco. I asked him to come home with us but he didn't.

Then he clapped his hands and a spaceship arrived. I was going down the hill but he called me up again and asked me to sit in the spaceship with Floppy. Then the spaceship took off and while flying it he told me his story. He told me that first he was the king of aliens and had a beautiful crown made up of gold. Mooco further added that he had about a thousand sacks of gold and he was a just king.

There was another alien who was jealous of him and wanted to be the king but no one liked him. One day he used his alien powers and threw Mooco down to Earth ....

Very soon we reached Mars and Mooco showed us the world there. Then he awarded my dog and me each with a Mars bar and a real spaceship. We took our spaceship that was automatic and reached home. Mooco still visits us and rewards us with a Mars bar each time. Nobody knows that we have a spaceship and an alien as a friend because he and our spaceship are invisible and only Floppy and I can see them!
