MANSEHRA, Dec 1: Leaders of the Pakistan Afghanistan  Defence Council, at a rally held here on Friday, demanded that Afghan refugees belonging to ethnic minorities should be removed from the district immediately.

They urged the district Nazim to close down the businesses of those Afghan refugees, who supported the Northern Alliance, or those who had any links to the warlords. The rally was held to condemn the ongoing bloodshed in Afghanistan.

The speakers said that the Afghan supporters of Northern Alliance, who were living in the district, should immediately be shifted somewhere to avoid any untoward situation in the aftermath of massacres in Afghanistan at the hands of Northern Alliance troops.
