KARACHI, March 9: Speakers at a memorial meeting said that despite the tragic deaths of Air Chief Mushaf Ali Mir and other devoted officers of the Pakistan Air Force, the operational readiness and combat abilities of the force remained unaffected.

The occasion was attended by officers of the Air Force, former Sindh governor E Azim Daud Pota, former ambassador Qutubuddin Aziz, president of Hamdard Foundation, Saadia Rashid, former federal information minister Nisar Memon, Begum Tazeen Faridi and members of the diplomatic corpse.

Nisar Memon said that Mashaf Ali Mir had made sustained efforts to upgrade professional capability of the force through acquiring the best and modern technology.—PPI
