Imam Ali’s Urs begins today

SIALKOT, March 8: The four-day 757th Urs of saint Imam Aliul Haq would begin at his shrine here on Sunday under the supervision of Baba Saeem Ali Ahmad Sabir.

Rasm-i-Ghusal would be held on the same day after Isha prayers while wreaths would be laid the next day and meals distributed among the devotees.

Qira’t, Na’at and Samma sessions would also be held from Muharram 5 to 9.

Religious scholars, Mashaikh and Qawaal from all over the country will participate in the Urs.

Imam Ali spread the light of Islam in Sialkot region.
