KARACHI, March 3: Sindh Assembly Speaker Syed Muzaffar Hussain Shah on Monday took oath as acting governor of Sindh in the absence of Dr Ishtarul Ibad, who has left for London with family on a 4-day private visit.

The oath was administered by the Chief Justice of Sindh High Court, Mr Justice Sayed Saeed Ashad, at a ceremony held at the Governor’s House.

The Chief Minister, Sardar Ali Mohammmad Mahar, was also present on the occasion. The ceremony was attended among others by provincial ministers, provincial secretaries, and high officials.—APP
