KARACHI, Feb 28: Prime Minister Zafarullah Khan Jamali has announced a grant of Rs100 million for the development and rehabilitation in the localities identified as ‘no-go areas’, said Governor Dr Ishratul Ibad.

“The no-go areas’ no more exist. In compliance with the directives of President Gen Pervez Musharraf, the provincial government has brought an end to such areas. Now we would be undertaking development and rehabilitation activities there as the people of these areas have suffered a lot,” the governor said while talking to newsmen at the Governor’s House.

“The PM announced the grant at a meeting here and has put it at my disposal,” he added.—PPI
