KARACHI: PTCL advice to people

KARACHI, Feb 28: The Pakistan Telecommunication Company has directed its customers to use code barring facility to avoid misuse of telephone connections, says a press release.

A PTCL spokesman elaborated that various TV channels and companies advertize asking people to dial the number starting with 0900 prefix to win quiz programme lotteries etc. The numbers starting with prefix 0900 charge different rates plus taxes from PTCL customers, and the major part of charges recovered on such calls go to the companies concerned while a meagre share to PTCL, he added.
