DUBAI Sri  Lanka captain Mahela Jayawardena and India fast bowler Ishant Sharma will be available for photos and brief interviews with the ICC World Twenty20 trophy which kicks off its world tour in Colombo on Monday.

 

The trophy, designed by Minale Bryce Design Strategy of Queensland, Australia, and manufactured by Links of London, will also be shown off in other countries in the lead-up to the ICC World Twenty20 to be staged in England from 5 to 21 June.
 
For the general public, the trophy will be displayed at the Crescat Mall, next the Cinnamon Grand Hotel, Colombo from 1200 to 1400 on Tuesday and there will be an opportunity for them to photograph and be photographed with the trophy.
 
India won the inaugural ICC World Twenty20 in 2007 in South Africa when it beat traditional rivals Pakistan by five runs.
