PMCH psychology ward abolished

NAWABSHAH, Nov 27: Patients from here, Dadu, Naushahro Feroze, Sanghar, Khairpur, Sukkur and other nearby areas are facing difficulties due to abolition of psychology ward at Peoples Medical College Hospital Nawabshah. Psychology ward was abolished by the administration a few weeks ago and the patients were sent back home. Paediatric surgery ward was set up in the premises.

SHOT DEAD: One Ghulam Sarwar Balaj 22, was shot dead by his brother Arbab Ali in village Lal Bux Shahani due to a personal dispute.

Haji Balaj Shahani, father of Ghulam Sarwar lodged an FIR at Qazi Ahmed police station.

DIES: Aijaz Ahmed, 26, was crushed to death under the wheels of a truck near Hala branch, Nawabshah. The driver managed to escape.

RECOVERED: Qazi Ahmed police arrested Sojro Khoso and recovered one shotgun from his possession, during raids, while three persons namely Peeral Khan, Ghulam Ali and Ali Sher managed to escape leaving two shotguns behind.

DEHS: As many as 30 activists of Sindh Taraqqi Passand Party observed token hunger strike in front of press club Nawabshah the other day. They were protesting against shifting of 17 Dehs of Sindh to Punjab.
