This is not a hippy bus traveling merry to a Woodstock Festival. Neither are these juveniles in old London dancing on top of a double-decker. Nor is this Red Bull’s promise of a pair of wings. What this is, is unimaginable lunacy.

Less than a week ago five teenaged schoolchildren were smashed to death when the roof of a bus they were sitting on collided with the ceiling of an underpass in Lahore. The fact that the drivers of our public transport lack any sense is not a surprise but at least some authoritative figure or body who has even the slightest concern of such precious lives at risk can take action.

It is obvious that the young ones themselves do not fully comprehend that when they hang on to their lives clinging to a handle on the side or enjoy the fresh air on top, their chances of injury or even death are multiplied ten fold due to the intense velocity the bus wheels along a route amid all the other opposing forces on the road.
