PESHAWAR, Feb 6: The NWFP government has shuffled senior police officials in the province after relaxing the ban on the  transfers and postings, a notification issued on Thursday said.

According to the notification, Farooq Ahmad Jan Baber (BS-18), has been transferred from the post of SSP, Investigation Branch, to SP, university campus, Dr Ishtiaq Marwat (BS-18), has been transferred from SSP (Operations), Peshawar, to SSP, Charsadda, in place of Dr Sadiq Kamal (BS-18), who has been transferred and posted as SSP (Investigations), Peshawar.

Khalid Habib (BS-18), has been transferred from the post of SSP(investogation), Peshawar, and posted as SSP (Operation), Peshawar.

Sajjad Afzal Afridi (BS-18), who has returned from Kosovo, has been posted as SP, Peshawar Cantt, in place of Khurshed Khan (BS-18), who has been posted as SP, Frontier Reserve Police, Peshawar.

Mohammad Saeed (BS-18), has been transferred from SP, Police Headquarters, Peshawar, to SP, Swabi. Mohammad Anwarullah (BS-18), has been transferred from SP, Frontier Reserve Police, Kohat, to SP (Investigations), D.I Khan, in place of Raja Naseer Ahmad (BS-18), who has been posted as SP, Frontier Reserve Police, Haripur.

Kashif Alam (BS-18), OSD, has been posted as SP (Rural), Peshawar. 

Mohammad Iqbal Khan (BS-18), has been transferred from SP, Battagram, to SP, Bannu, in place of Rajab Ali Zaidi (BS-17), who has been posted as SP, Lakki Marwat.

Zulfiqar Hassan Shah (BS-17), has been transferred from SP, Lakki  Marwat, to SP, Security Special Branch, in his own pay and scale.
