KHAIRPUR, Feb 2: Growers of Gambat and Khuhra staged a protest demonstration on Khuhra-Ripri link road near here on Sunday against the sugar mill managements.
The growers also took out a procession and raised slogans against the managements of the mills.
Talking to newsmen, the growers’ representatives said the mills were not purchasing sugarcane from local growers and they were purchasing sugarcane from growers of Ghotki.
